Caitlin Alifirenka
Caitlin Alifirenka (nÊe Stoicsitz) was born in 1985 in Pennsylvania.
Her life-changing pen pal friendship with Martin Ganda began in 1997 through a school assignment.
After graduating high school in 2003, Caitlin pursued nursing at Abington Memorial Hospital's Dixon School of Nursing.
She now works as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
Caitlin's experience with Martin inspired the book "I Will Always Write Back," which tells their remarkable story.
She currently resides near Philadelphia with her husband Dzmitry Alifirenka and their two daughters, Mila and Dasha.
